  20. This is a rather informal announcement of a rather informal web-server,
  21. located at http://www.acns.nwu.edu/
  22.  
  23. I'm running the NCSA .3(beta) release of httpd, and have gotten the feeling
  24. that non-Mosaic products don't get along all that well with it, but that's
  25. one reason why I'm announcing -- to find out how true that is.  But I use
  26. XMosaic, and have some inlined images and stuff -- that's really the
  27. platform I'm creating for.

  29. Of course, the real reason I'm announcing is that I want people to come
  30. over and visit and tell me what they think!  Like I said, very informal,
  31. but I could use some feedback about how things work and look...
  32.  
  33. Currently, we have:
  34. * a sprouting collection of Jazz information grepped from
  35.     rec.music.bluenote
  36. * the SURFPUNK Technical Journal archives
  37. * the space where the BLINK electronic journal archives will be  (our first
  38.     issue goes out next week)
  39.  
  40. I'm also talking to Pete Ashdown, author of the XDZebra Techno Music
  41. reviews about hypertexting and presenting his back-issues and future
  42. stuff...  And, if anyone else has stuff they've been wanting to see
  43. archived, and I find it interesting enough to stare at for hours of
  44. hypertexting, we might make something of it...
  45.  
  46. Most of the files aren't very hyper-text-y yet, but as I find time and get
  47. ideas, I'll work on it -- if any of you see ideas for good links or other
  48. structural things, I'd appreciate word...
